Day 4 - Sunshine Returns - a Glorious Day

Woke up this morning to beautiful sunshine. The scene looking north from the balcony:

Villa Carlotta Gardens - located 600 meters south of our inn at the village of Tremezzo, a 17th century villa and gardens built for the Milanese marquis, Giorgio Clerici.

 

Bellagio - viewable across the lake from our room, located at the tip of the peninsula separating the two lower arms of the lake. Popular with tourists, especially weekenders from Milan. Home to an 11th century Romanesque church.
